WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A day after U.S. Senator Kamala Harris ended her 2020 presidential bid, former Vice President Joe Biden, a leading contender for the Democratic nomination, said on Wednesday he would consider her as a potential running mate.
Biden, with whom Harris clashed during a Democratic debate earlier this year, praised her after a campaign event in Ames, Iowa.
“Senator Harris has the capacity to be anything she wants to be,” Biden told reporters, according to a video posted by CBS News. “I talked to her yesterday. She’s solid. She can be the president one day herself. She can be the vice president. She can go on to be a Supreme Court justice.”

CA adds no EC votes since any Dem will win there. Harris does not poll well for President in Cali. She brings in zero EC votes from anywhere else. She is female and darkish (though not AA), but has lost the news media (Dem’s strongest constituency), can’t take a political punch, and has proven incompetent to run her own smallish campaign. Malarchy Joe craps out again.
Figgers. Sen. Harris is not a natural born U.S. citizen. Neither of her parents’ country of origin observe the Medieval birthright citizenship, so Harris is subject to another jurisdiction = her parents’ countries of origin, even though she was dropped as an ‘anchor baby’ her while her parents had U.S. visas. Neither parent applied for US citizenship.

Kamala might imagine Biden winning the electoral majority somehow, and before 4 years are up, he dies, or strokes out, or produces so much verbal diarrhea he is forced out. Bingo, first female POTUS etc.
No doubt about it. More than for most, being Biden’s or Bernie’s VP is a more likely path to the Presidency than usual.
Of course, Biden would have to survive presidential debates to win. Maybe there is a drug that temporarily makes a person smarter?

Take a look at all the articles being commented on, hardly any focus on the Dem candidates, except Biden. warren and Sanders are out of the news. Has Silly Gilly Gilibrand been hear of in the last 3 months, or Beto - they’ve fallen off the edge of the earth. Nobody cares about these losers, it’s no wonder the dems are so scared of Trump winning another election.
I can’t imagine what benefit the DNC would have to put her on the Ticket...
Biden is in the lead because he already has the black vote locked up.... Old Mattress never connected with black voters at all...
She really didn’t connect with women either... and she’s from California which is an Automatic D win... and she was polling way behind even in her own state on top of that, so she really brings no strategic benefit to being on the ticket.
I have little doubt Biden will end up with a minority running mate, and possibly a woman running mate as well.. but Harris brings ZERO to the table.
Unless the DNC thinks she has future potential, and want to lift her visibility for the future, but given how badly her campaign went, she sure doesn’t seem like she’s a bright up and comer.
See, zero benefit for her to be on the ticket...
A woman running mate worked well for Mondale. And even a great female VP choice cannot overcome a loser at the top of the ticket like Biden or mCCain.
As long as the African American Democrat Voters stick with Biden, he is the nominee... PERIOD...
I don’t care how much hype the MSM puts behind powder puff Pete, or Warren, or Bernie... As long as Biden has that vote locked up.. he’s the nominee... PERIOD.
Some folks might surprise in NH or IA.... but once they hit SC.... and then Super Tuesday and large states with large black populations vote, the race is over.. unless someone gets the black voters away from Biden.
Sanders will stick around forever, because he knows he’s not winning it, but his goal is to keep pushing the party further left, and he has his die hards who will support him no matter what... they will stick with him until he is no longer an option.
Democrats are not winning this thing, and the honest ones know it... but give the state of the party there is no way they are going to run 2 white men on a ticket, unless perhaps one of them is light in the loafers....

Secretary of State
Secretary of Treasury.

Maybe this is why Pelosi is so anxious to impeach Trump-—THEN she can go after Pence & SHE can succeed to President !!!!!
