State Rep. Movita Johnson-Harrell, a West Philadelphia Democrat who took office after a March special election, will resign after being charged with perjury, theft, tampering with public records, and related crimes Wednesday.
Johnson-Harrell used her nonprofit to enrich herself, ---SNIP--- Johnson-Harrell, 53, was the first Muslim woman to serve in the Pennsylvania state legislature. Reducing gun violence has been her top issue as a lawmaker. Her father, brother, and 18-year-old son were all killed by gun violence.
She was elected to represent the 190th Legislative District in West Philadelphia after Vanessa Lowery Brown was convicted of bribery

So between you and Jim Rob, you’ve persuaded me that my ignorance of that particular district is shading my opinion. I’m biased (disgusted) in my thinking about how Dems really “win” elections - perhaps I’m not seeing the forest for the trees.

I fellow I know was managing a construction project in Philly. Pols, inspectors and labor union guys were literally walking up to him on site, and demanding cash or they’d stop the project right there.

She stole $500,000 from her n/p that we know of and owed over $100,000 in taxes.
Resign, RESIGN????, wth....she would win her next race with 110% of the registered voters....or the rats can add her to the next ‘debate’ for some diversity...black, woman, Muslim, crook...oh nevermind....
These folks aren't doing anything the Clintons and Bidens haven't gotten away with.
