I don’t agree with Turley on any of his political positions but he’s easily the most honorable of democrats.
I don’t know what Turley said in 1998 - he might have felt Clinton’s lying under oath in a sexual harassment case didn’t meet the standards of high crimes and misdemeanors... It’s possible he was right. We were also blinded by our hatred of Clinton at the time.
Which is a normal position for people in the Court of Public Opinion... but then as now I feel our law professors needs to function above the level of their baser emotions.
Three of the ‘professors’ are haters... their positions will not hold up over the judgement of time.
