My guess is that the GOP selected him with the hope that he could provide a rational answer to those who consider themselves independent, and haven't made a decision on impeachment yet. Trump supporters don't need to be convinced that this is a national disgrace. If Turley can appeal to some who are undecided, that is a net plus.

She did say that Trump should be impeached because he said t the effect “could you do US a favor”. He should be impeached, said this woman whose picture should be under angry, ugly liberal, “because he thinks he’s a king. A king would us when he means ME.”

This woman is the ruination of today’s televised drama. She’s ugly, she’s mean, she will make up anything with the force of her hatred.
Trump should be impeached for using US instead of ME.

In one fell swoop, Rep. Gaetz just disemboweled and exposed for all to see the longheld anti-Trump bias of the entire MSNBC-contributing panel of constitutional “experts” on impeachment invited by Nadler and Dems. Their witnesses left stunned, effectively impeached themselves.
I’ll tell you what’s going on here. Over 30 years ago I listened to leftist law professors explain their “legal nihilism”. They consider the law to be a tool of the prevailing legal class, devoid of any legitimate value, and their plan was to alter the law to achieve leftist ends. So this crew would defend a leftist president on the same facts in a heartbeat. The law is nothing to them.
As I watch as I type right these seconds, her face is very blushed. She has anger pouring out of her.
She’s horrible. Notice the Republicans keep asking her.

I agree with you PLUS Turley has earned respect from the public imo and is well known — has anyone ever heard of the other three. Choosing him is a plus for Repubs.
