I’m not sure either but there is something definitely wrong with it when the minority is not allowed to do the same to other committee members on the left.

They take the Constitution literally word for word to their advantage for unrestricted open ended rule making, but do not allow the same literal word for word interpretation concerning Constitutional due process and defense and equal powers.

But I know I am preaching to the choir with that. It is just so frustrating to see such a one sided example like this. In no way did the founders intend for it to be used like this. They by far underestimated the true lack of integrity and abuse that could come from it.

They obviously had some idea and trust in the idea that legislators would always have some remains of basic moral sense of fairness, equality, integrity, and justice.

They were so very very wrong about the level of criminal immorality these folks truly are capable of sinking to.
