No recordings of phone conversations were involved in this. Call logs can and usually will be provided by a carrier upon receipt of a subpoena.
Notice is supposed to be provided of any subpoena to the person whose records are being subpoenaed. That person can legally challenge the subpoena. Did that happen here? If not, this is a violation of the law.
