I didn’t think anything else the Dems did would shock me, but this is truly shocking. The Dems are bulldozing right through the Constitution, House rules and any shred of decency. They have complained for over 65 years about “McCarthyism,” yet are practicing the most virulent anti-Americanism this country has ever seen.

Nothing Dems do ever shocks me. They are after all the party of the KKK and fellow travelling communists. What shocks me is the doormat GOP. They steadfastly refuse to substantively engage the ongoing coup against a GOP POTUS and in fact green light it. It’s the first time in nearly 250 years of American history that a POTUS does not have the support of his own party.
Come on, you're better than this - I've seen some of your prior posts.
For one, the entire impeachment process is entirely within constitutional boundaries. This isn't a criminal nor civil lawsuit which follow well established, standardized rules of procedure, evidence, etc. Rather, it is entirely political, subject to only how far one wishes to push prior precedent and/or challenge public opinion.
Two, proglibs don't complain about "McCarthism" because they think it's unfair; rather, they complain because they think it's effective. They have no moral compunction about utilizing the same tactics & techniques - as long as it's in their favor.
Finally, one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. Who said "Moderation in the protection of liberty is no virtue; extremism in the defense of freedom is no vice."? As far as proglibs are concerned, their extremism is pro-American. If you really feel that the environment is endangered, that Trump represents a right wing block of xtian racists, then of course you're going to do whatever it takes to thwart that threat.
The real issue is more fundamental: How did two opposing schools of thought become so entrenched? Like CWI, when two sides simply cannot agree on basic principles, then it becomes a fight to see who will control the outcome, and impose those results on the other.
