Proving the wisdom of the Founding Fathers in having the legislature pick the senators.
Also Biden and his corrupt clan scream for the necessity of term limits. Though they don’t do it deliberately.
2 consecutive terms (12 years) in the Senate. Then you must sit out a full term before you can return.
5 consecutive terms (10 years) in the House. Then you have to sit out 2 or 3 terms before you can return.
Roughly 10 years is the time it takes to forget who sent you there & why!
During the “siting out” period, GO HOME! If one must be a professional politician go home and run for governor, mayor, county commissioner, etc. May even try a private sector job. But GO HOME to your state or district!
