While the MSM promotes China as supporting the Climate Change mania, the reality of its promotion of coal is hardly seen.

I myself think safe modern nuclear power is what should be pursued.

It Sounds Crazy, But Fukushima, Chernobyl, And Three Mile Island Show Why Nuclear Is Inherently Safe - https://www.forbes.com/sites/michaelshellenberger/2019/03/11/it-sounds-crazy-but-fukushima-chernobyl-and-three-mile-island-show-why-nuclear-is-inherently-safe/#3b3cb2321688

The 3 Biggest Myths About Nuclear Power

Myth #1. Nuclear is dangerous.... As a variety of different analyses have shown, even when you factor in nuclear's memorable accidents, it is vastly safer than any fossil fuel energy source. ..

Myth #2. Nuclear waste is an unsolvable problem.

Myth #2. Nuclear waste is an unsolvable problem...Nuclear energy results in radioactive waste in the form of spent fuel rods – a big drawback. But did you know that coal plants actually produce more radioactive waste during their operation?..waste could be safely locked away in Yucca Mountain, a remote site in the Nevada desert situated on federal land.

Myth #3. Nuclear is prohibitively expensive.... The Union of Concerned Scientists estimated that a meager carbon price costing the average household only $1 per month could make nuclear competitive nationwide, while vastly reducing air pollution. While cheap and growing cheaper, wind and solar...technology is nowhere near ready yet, presents its own environmental hazards, and will likely be very costly. - https://www.realclearscience.com/blog/2019/07/02/the_3_biggest_myths_about_nuclear_power.html

Next Generation Nuclear Power

New, safer and more economical nuclear reactors could not only satisfy many of our future energy needs but could combat global warming as well -https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/next-generation-nuclear/

Cheaper and cleaner nuclear plants could finally become reality—but not in the United States, where the technology was invented more than 50 years ago.....Over the next two decades China hopes to build the world’s largest nuclear power industry. - https://www.technologyreview.com/s/602051/fail-safe-nuclear-power/

Without reliable, relatively cheap electricity, there is poverty, social and political disorder. China , India and most of the world will burn whatever they have or can get to generate electricity.

"... China and the EU understand the opportunities offered by a clean and climate-safe world.”

What the hell is a "climate-safe" world?

Fusion the power of the sun is the future. Once we have safe clean fusing reactors the whole Solar System will be ours. Fusion reactors shut down when they fail so the reaction shuts down. Radiation only occurs when the fusion reaction is on going, sort of a thermo nuclear microwave.
