I didn’t know that. The only British WWII planes I ever heard about were Spitfires, and Hurricanes.

They called them Hurricanes in the Atlantic, in the Pacific they were called Typhoons...

The Hawker Typhoon, a ground-attack plane from late in the war. Think of it as their version of the P-47 “Jug”.
