To tell the truth I believe Trump has already proven himself, but I completely agree that there are many, still deciding.

:)

“... personally think Trump will be the shining light for all future (good) Presidents to aspire to but in their own way of course...”

I’ll sum it up in two words: “Fight Back”

In the meantime, I think we can fit his face on Mount Rushmore...and Reagan’s as well.

“I would like to know whether Trump has passed Reagan, for the title.”

Given all he’s had to go through and as much as he has accomplished, I’d say his accomplishments are better than Reagan’s first 3 years in office. However, to properly assess his success, I think we need to wait until his time in office has been completed.

When Reagan was president, I wasn’t much interested in politics and failed to appreciate him until after he completed his time in office. But now, I have a much better understanding of what he accomplished. Is Trump there yet? Probably not, but he still has 5 years to go.

Trump is the best President since Coolidge but he has a ways to go to catch up to Coolidge.
*****************************************
Coolidge didn’t have to deal with millions of Deep Staters, anti-American globalists and a largely unified national coalition of Resistance. He also didn’t have to deal with tens of millions of invaders in our midst and an Establishment largely dedicated to their self-enrichment at the expense of most Americans.

Trump is clearly revealing himself as the Champion America and the West need desperately.

IMO, he has been a tad more conservative than the Ronald. Wished he had the ability to speak like Reagan though.

I hate ranking presidents. It’s so superficial. It’s easier to rank worst as opposed to the “best”. I would like to know the best overall government (sessions with administration and court) America has had. This current congress may be the worst ever and is putrid and IMHO many should get fitted with a rope.

“More proof Republicans are pro slavery and racists - Lincoln freed the slaves.”

Rather amazing that you’ve held on here for 19 years without getting zotted. Congrats.

See, it’s possible to oppose the idea of slavery while still opposing the idea of mandatory membership in a political union at gunpoint. We don’t make all divorces illegal because some people seek them for stupid reasons.

Whether or not Lincoln intended to create this precedent through ending the scourge of slavery is besides the point to the fact that he did. It’s highly unlikely a CSA would still have slavery in 2019, but now we have a union of divided states with no peaceful way out. There’s a legitimate argument that it was worth the tradeoff, but there’s also a legit one that it wasn’t especially since the history of the consequences of this decision is still being written and may be brought into stark relief in our lifetimes.

I appreciate the president, but that’s kind of a silly comparison. Nobody alive today was alive during the Lincoln Era. But even this lopsided question was apparently enough to trigger a lot of Libs. Now they say we’re ‘in a cult’.
Stop with all the projecting, Libs!

On just what basis would any “American” say otherwise? POS GOP yields just a “majority”? Should be at least 90%...

Please remember Reagan did what he did with a Dem controlled Congress. Trump does what he does with RINOS and assholes (Dems). Winning is winning. What Reagan said eloquently, the Donald says in your facely. I don’t care who’s the best, I care who’s kicking ass now.

Lincoln was hated by the press and called every name in the book—Fool Monkey and Chimp, imbecilic weak minded and worse. Some even called him a vampire. We can not judge Trump until he is gone.

“Lincoln was a bloody unconstitutional tyrant who destroyed the original Republic the Founders created.”

I’m a Yankee but “The War on Northern Aggression” had some good points.
