A former Republican Congressman claims House GOP members are 'absolutely disgusted and exhausted' by President Donald Trump's behavior, but are reluctant to speak out for fear of angering the party's base.
Dent, who served as Pennsylvania's 15th congressional district from 2005 until 2018, has now registered as a lobbyist and works as a political commentator for CNN, where he made the sensational claims on Friday.
'They can be more concerned about their election, or their legacies. And I would argue to many of them: your legacy is more important than the next election.'
Dent claims he would likely vote in favor of impeaching the president given what he has heard so far.

Legacy as used here and in similar statements means legacy in the eyes of the elite: the New York Times, the liberal establishment and liberal historians.
Obviously it’s not “legacy” in the eyes of the actual voters you were supposed to represent, because they are the ones you have to oppose in the name of your “legacy”.

Like COCKROACHES within the walls Washington DC is infested with them. They have been robbing the US Treasury for so long that they think it is their due and now, seeing the possibility of its crashing down on them are panic stricken and lashing out.

In the article, the pretend Republican who became a Democrat claims “some” (2?, 4?) congress critters are upset that Trump isn’t a smarmy, “say anything to be nice” politician.
Headline makes it sound like All House members are disgusted with Trump. Which is the crud you pull when you’ve got nothing.
So what, I’m a voter and I’m disgusted with most congress critters from both parties.

I hope that traitorous RINOs and traitors on the even farther left are afraid of the American people. It’s their job to govern within the enumerated powers of the Constitution, not to enrich themselves while playing Nanny to the world. I don’t care if they are disgusted by our duly-elected President of the United States or if they are disgusted by deplorables like us. (And I’ll put my degrees and credentials up against anyone in the House or Senate, if they want to look down their noses at us ordinary people who need the elites to make our decisions for us.)
He’s a Lobbyist. That tells you everything you need to know. President Trump isn’t part of the Good Old Boy network and, therefore, poses a threat to his livelihood.
Dent was my congressman and I was so angry that he not only quit but early.
Anything he has to say is sour grapes from a career putz.
Most of these politicians will be forgotten very quickly once they leave office ... some while they're still in office!
