Danielle Stella says she was banned for a tweet in which she spread a baseless claim about Omar and said if the claim is true, Omar should be tried for treason and hanged, according to a post to her Facebook account. Two Twitter accounts of Stellas have been suspended, her campaign confirmed to CNN.
The Minnesota freshman was elected last year and is the first Somali-American member of Congress, and she and Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan are the first two Muslim women ever elected to Congress. Omar has been at the center of numerous controversies since being sworn into Congress, including making comments criticizing US support for Israel that were seen as invoking anti-Semitic tropes and stereotypes.
In a statement to CNN, Stella strongly criticized Twitter for the suspension and its policies.
Stella, who is not the only Republican looking to unseat Omar, describes herself as a special education needs professional. She writes on her campaign website that as a result of the lack of honorable representation for Minnesotas 5th congressional district, I believe it is my duty and privilege to stand up and speak for the forgotten American citizens in the District and throughout the state.

Is it really?

Not guilty. Danielle can use my Twitter account.
She is being accused of two counts of shoplifting at two different stores.
Poor thing. She’s just a little high-strung is all.
Needs a nice foot rub and a gentle hug.
Married her brother?
So they are that worried that the claim is true and are protecting her.
Why do people use companies like this?
Then omar should not have done what she did. Too bad for her.
The United States needs to become a hell of a lot more discriminating about who they allow to become U.S. citizens.
She didn do nuffin...
Thanks. It looks like @RyanAFournier on twitter post was also removed saying that Omar was recruited by a foreign government (Qatar)
What? And make it harder to become a citizen.
But, but, but, how else are dems going to destroy this country?
14 Jul 2016: Vox: In case you missed the memo, Silicon Valley leaders really hate Donald Trump
A bunch of tech execs signed a new letter condemning the Republican candidate.
By Noah Kulwin
For many leaders of Silicon Valley, the 2016 election cycle is an exercise in how many ways they can say that they don’t like Donald Trump.
While a lot of them do really like Hillary Clinton and other Democratic establishment figures, Trump is really their bête noire. Heres the latest example of how much the captains of tech loathe the Republican candidate: A letter on Medium signed by a bunch of tech executives outlining their contempt for the guy.
The relatively short letter was posted to Medium by former Twitter exec Katie Jacobs Stanton, who also used to work in Hillary Clintons State Department, and it levels criticisms that have been well aired in public...
We have listened to Donald Trump over the past year and we have concluded: Trump would be a disaster for innovation....

During the 2008 presidential campaign, Ross played a key role in developing then-Sen. Barack Obama’s technology and innovation plan, convening more than 500 advisors in the process of cultivating the candidate’s innovation agenda...
In April 2009, Ross joined the State Department as Senior Advisor on Innovation. Hillary Clinton described his work by saying that “Alec Ross has been my right hand on all that we’re doing for internet freedom.” Alex helped institute a solid Democratic base in the State Dept that would last long after he and Hillary left. Worked with Hillary Clinton instituting Civil Society 2.0 to create revolution and regime change in other countries starting in 2009...

No wonder President Trump is having such a hard time. The rats have become so entrenched in government that swamp draining maybe impossible without massive firing of all personnel. But then firing a government “worker” is next to impossible. This is very disturbing.
She needs help.
But Stella has faced criminal charges of her own. In January she was arrested on felony shoplifting charges after she allegedly stole 279 items valued at $2,327.97 from an Edina Target. According to a criminal complaint, Stella scanned only $50 worth of items at a self-checkout before leaving the store. She told officers she remembered arriving at Target to purchase items but nothing else due to her PTSD, the complaint said.
Just over three months later, Stella was arrested again. On April 28, security staff at a Cub grocery in Bloomington called police after witnessing Stella steal $40 worth of cat food and supplies at a self-checkout, according to the police report. Stella told an officer she forgot to pay for the food.
The campaign did not immediately respond to requests for comment from the Star Tribune.
