Very touching to witness an act of kindness between fellow men still exists in this world.

I am convinced that truck drivers are the salt of the earth.

Fred really reminds me of my brother, who was an owner operator for several years after retiring from the Army. He was a helicopter pilot and a Vietnam vet.

Life has sent him misfortune from all directions, but he continues to help people out whenever he finds someone in need. He often visits a veterans’ hospital in his area, bringing them fresh donuts and spending time visiting with the patients. He has given help to countless people stranded along the roadway, rescued animals, and helped a couple of boys who had hoped a train get back home a few hundred miles away. Any time he comes across someone in a pinch, he’s willing to go out of his way to help in any way he can.

May God bless Fred, my brother and all the unsung heroes across America.

Who drives to a minimart for a cup of coffee? He’s burning fossil fuel because he’s too lazy to make his own coffee and/or too cheap to buy a Keurig. Bet he’s a typical Massachusetts liberal who doesn’t see the hypocrisy of his actions. 😖
