Reminds me of the character Oswald Bates in the show In Living Color. Oswald was a convict that always tried to use big words to sound smart but they came out funny and often rhymed like “agitate” and “superfilate.”

Sadly I think this guy was serious when he used “despaired.”

I’m glad you told me that. I couldn’t solve the puzzle of what in the heck he meant.

“Woke” I figured out right away. But instead of us lowering ourselves to their destruction of the English language, why don’t they educate themselves to correctly speak and write in English?

It’s a little like the writer who said “I shouldn’t have to feel awkward about trying to have a conversation in English in a convenience store with a clerk in the United States.”
