I think the Jerusalem post confirmed that there was testimony offered to a Florida court in the trial of Ilhan’s brother, that she was a Qatari asset.
But the veracity of the testimony itself has not been confirmed. A Canadian by the name of Bender, I think Alan Bender, offered the testimony. No idea what his role in the trial is.

Last treason death sentence was Civil War. Most recent convictions have led to around 10-year sentences. Many crimes (like espionage) are treated more seriously.
