Redford supports environmentalism, Native American rights, LGBT rights,^[63] and the arts. Redford is opposed to the TransCanada Corporation's Keystone Pipeline.^[71] In 2013, he was identified by its CEO, Russ Girling, for leading the anti-pipeline protest movement.^[71]

In April 2014, Redford, a Pitzer College Trustee, and Pitzer College President Laura Skandera Trombley announced that the college will divest fossil fuel stocks from its endowment; at the time, it was the higher education institution with the largest endowment in the US to make this commitment. The press conference was held at the LA Press Club.^[72] In November 2012, Pitzer launched the Robert Redford Conservancy for Southern California Sustainability at Pitzer College. The Redford Conservancy educates the next generation of students to create solutions for the most challenging and urgent sustainability problems.

um what in the world does robert redford being a flaming liberal have to do with joseph smith? Your comment doesn’t make sense- I was commentign o nthe fact that robert has it backwards- Pt resident Trump is RESTORING our Values- NOT destroying it, like robert whines about- my comment had absolutely nothing to do with mormonism whatsoever-

Liberal???? Yea sorry .... I bleed Red, White and Blue .... and am certified Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity devotee. Doesn’t get more conservative than that.

I love Trump because he’s attacking the ‘deep state’ of politics/bueracracies in USA to get us back to the Constitution.

I love Joseph Smith because he attacked the ‘deep christian churches’ to get us back to the Bible and Jesus Christ. (NO FAKE NEWS CREEDS!!!)

Elsie, I suspect that you are right .....

however, it just so happens that you are one of the greatest ‘slanderers’ of my church on freerepublic ....

....and I am one of the greatest ‘supporters’ of my church on freerepublic.

So .... we butt-heads. If you were to meet me in person, you would likely be surprised as I am not very confrontational and generally very understanding.

But alas .... Just like I hate it when CNN/MSNBC/ABC/CBS slanders Republicans/Trump ..... I hate it when I see my beloved gospel slandered. And after being nice for over 50 years ..... I decided to push back.
