The Democrats will call for a censure vote on Christmas Eve and then go home and not bring this up anymore.

I used to be pretty sure they would vote to impeach.
However Schiff botched it up so bad, I think they want to drop it as soon as possible. “Censure” would be a way to mollify their base by pretending to do something that sounds significant (We “Censured” the President!) but isn’t! It has no constitutional meaning. Most of the base are only dimly aware of the Constitution so they’ll be fooled.
