We don’t win the cultural war by fighting Chick Fil A, that is what the left wants us to do. They want us to cause Chick Fil A to go bankrupt while they collect millions in donations in the process, that would be a win win for them.

Well said. There is also the fact that there are lots of progressive "foot-soldiers" situated inside big corporate structures who push these issues internally and can convince decision makers to do something stupid, such as what happened at Dick's and Target.
