From my experience a couple of months ago...

Get there EARLY. We had friends holding a place in line for us who got there at 6:30am. We were about 1,500 people back.

A ticket does not guarantee entrance. They give out about twice as many tickets as seats.

The vendors are not cheap. Bring your own water and snacks for standing in line.

If you have a folding chair you don’t mind losing (you will not be able to bring it into the venue) bring it. I stood for 9 hours. Not fun.

Sunscreen. Lots.

The protesters get pissed if you ignore or, even better, laugh at them. Don’t confront. I found walking past them chuckling to myself and shaking my head to be very triggering.

Enjoy!

I stood for 9 hours.

I also stood for 9 hours but at 4 PM while on the floor facing at least another 5 hours of standing that the medics would probably have to be called on me soon so I went into the general audience and sat down.
