This is completely pointless. We are not at war with ISIS. We are not at war with ‘radical islam’.

Islam is at war with the world.

Get out of Syria and let Assad get back to dealing with groups like ISIS. He has his grave faults but at least he is good at that.

Agreed. Like Rush once said “The military’s place in war is to kill people and break things”.

True. Exactly my WWII vet grandfather’s opinion on smart bombs and “clean” warfare.

Near-constant US bombings so broke the average German civilian’s spirit that they wanted the war to end regardless of outcome.

You can’t get civilians to place that kind of pressure on their leadership fighting a clean, zero civilian casualty war.
