Blexit is worse than a fantasy. Its a delusion which is harming the GOP.
Regular GOP pandering to the black community is, indeed, a waste of time, primarily because the GOPers in the last couple of decades who attempted this were transparently country-club elitists who didn't have the slightest idea how to relate to any non-white Americans, or even to middle and lower-class white Americans. They were frauds and everyone saw that.
The support for Trump, however, seems to be an organically-grown phenomenon. I don't see Trump pandering to black Americans. I only see him telling them straight up, "This is what I'm doing for everybody." Those black Americans who have openly supported him have appeared to have done so of their own initiative, rather than having been coaxed into it. Examples of this are Diamond and Silk, and freaking KANYE WEST, who, God bless him, has gone off on some kind of spiritual rocket ride that I can't even begin to comprehend, but who has gone from songs about money and bitches to a top-selling album of old timey return to Jesus, and wears a MAGA hat wherever he goes.
There simply is no precedent by which to measure what is happening right in front of our eyes, both for good and for bad, and so if, next election, we saw even a 10-20% shift of black voting to Trump (NOTE - not GOP, but Trump, specifically), I would not be surprised, and it would result in a landslide of Reagan proportions.
In other words, do not let past patterns prejudice your current expectations. The times, they are a-changin'.

Calm down, dude. As I said, from what I have seen, there does appear to be a genuine movement among black Americans toward, at least, having some doubts about Democrats. Now, as far as GOP goes, as I said, the movement tends to be toward Trump specifically, not the GOP in general, and may only affect his re-election in the short term, not all the elections. We’ll see. In the long term, anything is possible.

I follow many black female Trump supporters on Twitter. There is also a movement started by a gay hairdresser from NY called “Walk Away” in which he and others are working to convince blacks and other Democrats to “walk away” from the Democrat party. Go to YouTube and search “Walk Away” - many (former) Democrats telling their stories about what they are walking away from the Democrat party.

It not a trend at all. When you see a black person there is 90% chance that they are a Democrat. Same with LEGAL immigrants that get citizenship. They too vote for Democrats 90-10.

We haven’t had a Republican President actually and aggressively target the Black vote in eons. No one here is seriously suggesting we’re going to emancipate half their voters from the Stalinist Slave Plantation. But the point is to try to crack it by any means. Not doing or not trying is aiding and abetting what’s been done to the Black community by the Demonrat party.
Simply put, it is NOT a waste of time.

Asking for their vote is not pandering. No one here is remotely suggesting pursuing a leftist agenda for Blacks with the Republicans. They’ve already been severely damaged by leftism. Doing nothing is not a viable alternative.

Pandering to human base tribal instincts is not what the Republicans should do.

If Trump was a democrat, they would love him. Truthfully, I don’t believe Trump identifies that much with either party. He’s his own man.
