Before Jamaica, her ancestors came from Africa, I’m not sure why people insist she’s not “African.” She’s far more African than Warren is Indian. Many Euro-Americans families arrived here by way of Canada, Mexico, or the Caribbean.

Certainly, but that’s a very low bar. What people really mean to say is that she’s not African-American, although I suppose I would say she is that too. But, like Barack Obama, she doesn’t have the background of being descended from American Slaves. In both cases, quite the opposite.
For those who are concerned with Identity Politics that should be important, but of course, in the case of these two it isn’t.
Because what’s really important to those folks is that you be an American Hater, and Kamala and Barack both qualify. And, btw, that’s all that’s important to me about them too.
