Yep, if she doesn’t make it (which is actually a long shot, considering her apparent supernatural powers of recovery), the Dems will try to say that a president under impeachment is somehow ineligible to nominate a SCOTUS justice, his nominee is tainted or illegitimate, blah blah blah. It won’t work, though. “Cocaine Mitch” will not be denied.
