***a stockpile of ammo- at least 3 .22 shells***
Oh wow! three shells! I found 2000 rounds in my garage when I opened an old box. 4 boxes of .22 shells, 500 to a box I bought maybe 35 years ago!
Remember when they sold boxes of 500 rounds each for about $4.00? Now it is about 250-300 rounds a box.

Most municipalities outlaw discharging a firearm within limits, he may have been in city limits. Some counties in Ca have outlawed discharging period unless you are in possession of a valid hunting license, the game you are hunting is “in season”, and the firearm you are using is “appropriate” for the game you are legally hunting. I have a feeling many of the eastern states now have similar and “plinking is basically illegal within a determined area.

Probably sawed-off and filed under the 18” legal limit. It’s in the pic of the article, near center of the “arsenal”.

Most cities and suburbs have laws about discharging a firearm without cause in the city limits as a reckless use of a firearm charge, or something like that. Not so in rural areas and communities.

Yeah, if that is an arsenal, then most of us have enough to arm an army.

Yep, sounds like one of the few homeless who had his act together trying to be independent. If I was homeless I would do the exact same thing in todays world.

I do. That’s how we’d buy them to take to BSA summer camp, for NRA competition.

arsenal of weapons including two butter knives, a straw with pre made spit wads, a slingshot, three nerf guns, foam ammo and a hand shocker with batteries.

Pretty spartan compared with the one up north that had solar power and all.

Yep, it is indeed illegal as hell. That one firearm was all it took to get him in deep doo doo. THIS is why it is not worth it to have even one piece in your collection that is questionable.
