He’s not great but he will NOT have a trial that ends up convincing the president. That would be absolutely stupid and would destroy the party for decades if not longer.
So, what happens when the left storms the personal properties of those related to the GOP Senators, making threats? Lord know few if any would get arrested. If it goes to the Senate, I expect far worse than we’ve seen so far.
In my opinion it's destroyed already, which is why Trump is President and also why the President is in danger.
Trump got nominated because he exposed the fact that SIXTEEN real Republicans who were presented as leaders of their party and well-qualified to be President were SO hollow, so void of any quality whatsoever, that a man like Trump (and I love the guy) could sweep them aside like they were nothing.
He could sweep them aside like they were nothing because they WERE nothing.
A party with nothing to offer is dead already.
