Plastic is the most important compound in the earths biomass. It provides homes for countless small animals, generates beneficial bacteria, creates spawning beds for aquatic animals, provides environments for small critters in open seas, breaks down into tiny particles for plant growth, and on and on and on. There is no more beneficial element in the life cycle of our planet.
