IOWs our enemies, probably laugh all the time when they hear about our “rules of engagement.”
I doubt every seriously, that the Iranian Guards or even the Russians....throw in even the Israeli Army, are not going to second guess it’s soldiers when they’re thrust into the arena of war.
How many times have we heard of one of our guys killed when “a friendly” turns on them?
GW sent a JAG officer on these missions to make sure no one hurt his peaceful Muslim friends. The ROEs were enough to make any soldier cry. Thank You GW.
Yeah...they didn’t believe it because they couldn’t believe anybody could be that stupid. Ironically they do/did view Americans as inferior, but Ike did use Patton’s strengths in the end...before they killed him in Mannheim!
