“Why cant they just say nothing?”
Not to make excuses for them, but they are under constant attack by the homo mafia. It’s a way to keep the wolves at bay. That’s true of most businesses. Here’s what they’re up against.
“Chick-fil-A has been locked in a struggle with LGBTQ activists and allies over its LGBTQ issues and CEO Dan Cathys previous statements opposing gay marriage.
Protests from LGBTQ activists forced the first Chick-fil-A in the United Kingdom to close, while a number of places in the United States have either rejected new Chick-fil-As from being built, or refused offers of free food from the restaurant due to its perceived anti-LGBTQ animus.”
Any business (or individual) will look at who or what is causing them the most grief for a particular stand they’ve taken, and they will look at the choices available to them to ease the pain.
1. they can keep doing what they’re doing and continue suffering, or
2. they can appease the source of the pain by changing their policies and relieve some of their suffering. In choosing this option they have to be weary that their changes don’t inflame some other group that would cause them even more pain.
So they chose option 2 because they believed that our side would not cause them as much pain as the homo mafia. Given that we are nowhere near as effective and active as the homos at protecting our values, they may have guessed right, but it remains to be seen. They’re big risk is that they may end up with both groups going after them.
Homofacsists want representation on the board at all of these companies. They want their agents in HR, advertising, and at the CEO level.
All by threat, coercion, and blackmail.
