I can’t believe anybody believes these fairy tales after 3 years of a rampaging coup. Trump associates jailed. Criminal Democrats free as birds. Trust Sessions. Trust Huber. Trust Barr. LOL.

Most of Q's posts are quite enigmatic. So, one can interpret them in different ways. There is a whole group of "decoders" who try to do this. Many of the things which are attributed to Q are really what the widely popular interpretations are.

The Q thread on F.R. is very popular, it gets about 500 posts a day, and has been up and running for way over a year at this point.

They don't appreciate Q skeptics over there, but they do talk about all the current events topics around Potus and the Deep State, and there are some very well informed people on it.

It's a bit cultish, they have their own lingo and inside jokes. As you would expect in any group of a couple hundred people who have been interacting a lot for two years on a small set of topics..

In a way it reminds me of Free Republic in the old days, where people knew each other by their handles a bit more, and maybe even IRL friendships developing out of the forum.

Mostly Q brings up topics, and then his followers go research them. He was onto human trafficking early, onto Epstein early. So the followers go learn a lot about these topics. Even if Q isn't who he says he is, and doesn't have inside information from the Trump White House, the research and findings can be valuable and interesting.

Take the worst case scenario: Q is a bunch of 8 chan guys making it up to keep people's interest. The plus side is that they have seeded a lot discussions and investigations that have led to a lot more awareness of some really bad stuff.

The down side has two parts: one is, if, as "Trust the Plan" suggests, the attacks on Trump are all being taken care of by super-secret Q aligned Tiger Teams behind the scenes, then we don't have to worry about the every-day treachery we see taking place. Someone like Lindsey Graham being a feckless do nothing - well, maybe it's part of the "plan".

It leads to fatalism and inaction, when outrage and action are what we really need. People spend time decoding Q posts instead of marching with pitchforks on Congress.

The other problem I see, under the worst case scenario of "Q is fake" seems only to bother some people. People are wired differently, and find different things problematical, I have learned.

To me it's just always a bad thing to pretend to know things you don't know.

And seeing as no one knows who Q really is, then the certainty with which people speak about Q is wrong. I

t's a moral failing to pretend to know things you don't know, but it is a common one. We are used to fake experts. It doesn't seem that unusual, and so maybe it doesn't seem that bad to a lot of people.

And of course if Q isn't who he says (a DIA person/ small group) then you have a liar right at the center of the whole thing. And you have millions of people following the false prophet. And that's a giant moral swamp, right there, too.

But a lot of Q followers think the positive of getting people thinking and investigating outweighs the bad, even in the worst case scenario (where Q is finally outed as some 8 chan dude).

That's how I've come to think about it, after a year plus of being a regular on the Q thread, much of it as a lurker since, as I said, they don't take well to critics and skeptics over there.
