Funny, but Japan doesn’t have a muzzie problem at all. /s

What saves Japan is that they are openly, and unashamed racists. They have always believed in the superiority of the Japanese and Japanese culture, and have no interest in having non-Japanese around.

Swedish King Carl Gustav needs to channel his inner Viking and get his people to push back

The Muslims could potentially overtake the country by force. the AK’s and grenades are coming out of Bosnia. We could have a Muslim caliphate in Sweden

Bulgarian milled receivers are great. And, really, there’s nothing wrong with the stamped ones.

Milled steel receivers are relatively expensive to manufacture, and can also be heavy. Many countries adopted "sheet metal" receivers to reduce costs and weight; the US went with aluminum (probably at least in part because Fairchild was an aircraft company). There's nothing necessarily wrong with a "sheet metal" receiver; I've read that the life expectancy of an AKM (full-auto AK w/ stamped receiver) is almost 30,000 rounds, at which point they apparently tend to fail at the connection(s) with the rear trunnion. I suspect civilian-legal stamped AKs may last longer (perhaps especially if a buffer is used)...

Can’t think of a much easier fix than drilling out a couple of rivets and replacing them.

Bulgaria and Russia both make stamped receiver rifles, as well. I think their presence in every conflict on the planet speaks well for the AKM.

I've heard it said that AKs were designed to be maintained by illiterate socialist draftees, sitting in the mud somewhere. (Have to say they are a lot easier to clean than ARs! ;^) I've also read that Kalashnikov borrowed various features from other designs: safety lever from Browning's Remington Model 8, aspects of the fire control group from Garand, etc. Nothing wrong with that, if it works, but I mentioned it to a Russian on one occasion, and you would have thought I had just called his mother a prostitute...

"As I’ve said before....Europeans are the stupidest people on Earth."

I saw a picture recently held by two young, blonde women in Sweden that said, 'Rapists, not Racists.'

I guess in recent years, you could substitute "Chinese" for "Russian" - all of which highlights the obvious superiority of socialism...

It’s a touchy subject. There are similarities between the triggers of Garands and Kalashnikovs, but so what? The AK underfolding stock looks to be derivative of the MP-38 and -40. The only comparison that irks me is the assertion that Kalashnikov ripped off the StG-44

Seems like Kalashnikov was working on the design during the war, so I'm not really sure why people are sensitive - warfare is a matter of survival, not a high school science contest. When their armor started coming up short on the battlefield, the Germans (at least briefly) considered simply copying the T34, but apparently discarded the idea because it wasn't practical. Governments don't generally care much about patent rights when they're fighting a war...

Bernie Sanders would like us to be more like Sweden. That means a frightened citizenry, bullets and bombs going off in the streets, while our taxes go to fund social welfare programs for our killers.

Bernie and people like him labor under the conviction that the middle class deserves to be terrorized for imaginary "crimes" against the downtrodden (whoever that happens to be at the moment), for whose sole benefit the country is to be run. Middle class blood in the streets is a badge of social justice. These people can't be reasoned with.

Hitler was a dope. Didn’t like the StG 44, so it was produced a bit on the sly

Panther is in many senses a German reading of the T34 concept.
