They are making a big deal about QPQ for a state visit if Ukraine didnt investigate the 16 election and Burisma. I figured they would someone to go on record saying there was a QPQ. That is why should said from the beginning that hell yes there was because theres a treaty demanding that the corruption would be investigated. How damaging is this?

They shouldn't admit to a QPQ if there wasn't one. But they should be defending the following:
- The right to demand QPQ for US Aid.
- The right to demand an aid recipient country investigate corruption.
- The right to demand a country to investigate corruption including corruption involving US citizens.
- The right to demand a country investigate corruption even if those citizens are members, office holders, or candidates of the opposition party.
The only thing that would be wrong is if Ukraine was asked to make up stuff on the Bidens. That didn't occur. It did occur with Hillary/Fusion asking Ukraine to make up dirt on Trump and Manafort.
