Army Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman testified on Tuesday that he bypassed his chain of command and went directly to the National Security Councils legal counsel to raise his concerns about President Donald Trumps July phone call with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky.
The implication appears to be that Vindman had an agenda, which was only strengthened by his claim in his opening statement that Trump demanded Zelensky open an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden, though according to the White Houses partial transcript, the commander in chief did no such thing.
Republican Rep. Brad Wenstrup of Ohio - an Army Reserve officer and Iraq war veteran - and fellow Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan pressed Vindman on his decision not to follow the chain of command.

It’s much more lax now. Scary lax. DH had T.S. for his entire career, and then Q at the end. Through the years he watched it decline.
At first, it was as you described. We couldn’t even be social with wonderful Chinese members in our church. By the time he retired, non-American ex-pats had those clearances. It was disgusting. So other countries are stealing our technology. Whose fault is it? We know how they live their lives, i.e., as thieves, yet we practically invite them to screw us.
So demote him, fired him, jail him.
