A state senator from Luzerne County said Tuesday he is changing his party registration from the Democratic Party to become an Independent, and will start attending caucus meeting in Harrisburg with the majority Republicans.
John Yudichak said in a statement that he is leaving his old party because he is weary of “'purist' politicians who demand that you choose a battle camp. You must pass their litmus test, and declare if you support ‘us,’ or ‘them.’"

Right. I hope his bold step will turn out to be the first domino to fall, and that other RATs will be emboldened to do the same. Especially if that happens in the DC RAT nest.
Commentators say the RATs in areas that Trump won are between a rock and a hard place. If they vote not to impeach there’ll be hell to pay with their fellow RATs. If they vote to impeach, they may not be re-elected by their constituents. Oh, here’s a thought: Why not do the right thing for America even if they don’t get re-elected? What’s more important - saving America or another couple of years in a DC job?
Imagine if our Founding Fathers were so feckless.
