Yup. As I former Leftie I can attest to that. I hated this country once. And I had no idea why other than it was cool in the political circles I traveled in to do so.
Your comment supports what I have always believed. The Left in America has a committed core of true believers who have positioned themselves to manipulate others, particularly young people on college campuses. For the most part, the desire to be cool and part of something results in the young suspending critical thinking. It is so much easier to let the professor or the activist tell them what to believe then to risk alienation by thinking for themselves.
