Perhaps today. The question is “for how long”. I suspect that, sadly, we will begin to see a decline as they gradually drive their most productive citizens and businesses away.

Yes and it’s because of the huge market size they are able to bully the nation and force car makers that can be sold in Ca. so the Ca standards become the national standards because car makers can’t practically make two versions of their car lines. The big problem is the standards Obongo imposed on his way out the door required suspending the laws of physics.
