Sorry but Pompeo and the Israeli courts are playing to their respective domestic political realities. These settlements will not contribute to a peaceful solution. But that very well may be the point. There can never be a true peace between Palestine and Israel. Each side emotionally covets the same land and will not accept political rule from the other. Peace will only come when either Palestine or Israel ceases to be a definable political entity. Just very sad and tragic that America has been entangled in this insolvable dispute and has made and will continue to make enormous sacrifices of blood and treasure.
