Once the defense took away his primary receiver, he sucked.... Pretty much as you pointed out....
He was a low average QB at the time he was let go....
And after 3 years of not playing I am sure he’s less than that....
NFL were beyond dumb to give this guy the time of day... they are only JUST starting to recover from the damage he did to their brand...
Still, because of the hype and all the virtue signaling, if he had just played along he would very likely have been signed by someone. He screwed it up for himself, if he really wanted to come back and play - which remains unclear.
