My prediction: Pelosi , at some point, will order the impeachment proceedings temporarily paused until after the elections. That way Trump cannot claim he was exonerated and the Senate cannot call witnesses to testify. If Trump loses, her goal is achieved and the matter will be dropped for good. If he wins, they will pick up right where they left off assuming they still control the House.
