“My score was 1600 when I was 55. I passed a stress test with flying colors.”
Just turned 71 and a year ago my score was 1780. Like you, I passed a stress test with flying colors. Per my cardiologist (division chief at a university heart center), he’s got patients with a score of 5000 and no heart disease and patients with a score of 0 who have heart disease...said it’s an indicator, not an absolute. I couldn’t tolerate statins but do take relatively high dose fish oils and multiple other supplements and exercise regularly.
Thanks. That is what my cardiologist told me too.
