I’m in Michigan and it’s fine by me. Probably less harmful than alcohol, and apparently helpful for people who have certain medical issues.
I looked into medical certification and decided against it. My primary says he has a lot of patients who use it and claim that it helps, but he won’t prescribe it.
I have medical issues for which it might help. I don’t want to get in some sort of registry and risk the feds deciding someday they’re going to enforce the federal law (think Jeff Sessions). But If I can get it without having to do that I’m interested. I need help with my appetite and arthritic pain, so it’s worth a try, as far as I’m concerned.
None of this is true.
way to set the bar real low.
"For the treatment of chronic pain in adults (cannabis) (4-1) [...]
"There is limited evidence that cannabis or cannabinoids are effective for:
"Increasing appetite and decreasing weight loss associated with HIV/AIDS (cannabis and oral cannabinoids) (4-4a)"
Right now if you use marijuana you can't legally buy a gun.
That may change as society gets more permissive. Can't wait for every dope-head to have a gun and ready to defend their right to defecate on the street.
I have tried it for my arthritic problems. I does help a bit but the trade off of being high and also potentially setting a terrible example for my grandchildren deters me. If you end up on some type registry Id be very concerned about getting your 2nd amendment rights red flagged away from you.
When both are taken at the same time, innocents die.
One of my accounts is an addiction clinic, a large one at that. The number 1 substance the patients are being treated for is cannabis addiction... easily 90 percent. I’m in Michigan. This is not good.
