All of these obviously manufactured schemes to take down Trump or weaken him, are right out of the democRATic playbook for destroying their opposition, the Republicans and conservatives. They're not even hiding it very well anymore. This phony-baloney impeachment inquiry is so blatantly amateurish that they may or may not be successful in charging Trump with something to justify articles of impeachment.
But in the big picture, these overt enemies of America within our government have not only tread on thin ice, they have gone over the top in their sedition and treason. I mean, I don't know what anybody else would call it, but attempting a soft coup to remove a duly elected president has got to reach the level of treason.
Now whether the reality of it will result in anybody being punished for their crimes, is another story. But in their attempts to take out Trump, they have crossed a line the will be hard to hold in the future. Once you've faked and cheated your way to this point, there is no going back. And if the Republicans get the chance, they will feel freer to skirt the laws to get control over or get rid of the democRATS, as well.
Besides trying to remove a president they don't like, they are destroying the very reason we are considered a free society. We have free and open elections to vote our leaders into office but the peaceful transition from one political party to another is no more with what is going on now.
If they can't defeat Trump, they will just impeach him to get him out of the way.
