[Exactly right! How in the world can a CEO NOT clean house on Day 1, especially when he KNOWS how rotten-to-the-core the cadre he inherited was.]


CEO’s generally don’t clean house because there’s a lot of institutional knowledge in place. Only the top tier of people, maybe a dozen in all, are replaced. But then again, employees in the private sector don’t generally conspire with their former employer against their current employer.

w did the same thing, not firing anybody and thinking he could work with them. McLame thought he could reach across the aisle. Press thought so too until he got nominated.
