I agree with one caveat.
If it’s American money that is being corruptly funneled back to crooked U.S. politicians then it is in our interests to root out the illegal activity.
Yea - I am not talking about American money and dictating how it is spent - just the idea our American Mandarins are trying to root out corruption as a culture in these countries overseas (as if Chicago or NYC are foundations of honesty). What doe sit matter to the State Dept if my overseas uncle needs to bribe the local mayor to get my cousin a no show job with the town’s sanitation dept?
The arrogance of these foggy bottom people - they must think they are running an empire.
