The average American certainly doesn’t care about the 17,000 Ukraine citizens who have already died in this little border action. They cared a lot more about the 3,000 Americans who died on 9/11. Comparing our population with Ukraine’s 42 million means proportionally if the Ukraine were our size it would be over 130,000 already killed by Russian action.
