Now about drinking: Like President Trump, I do not drink alcohol or smoke anything. My mentally ill, abusive alcoholic mother mostly inspired that (President's brother being alcoholic did that for him).
As to drunk drivers, yes I am against them. My mother hit and almost killed a woman in a car accident while drunk one night. The judge in the trial questioned her on where she bought her drinks. "Oh, I know that bar. I've been there often. They water down the drinks there. You probably weren't as drunk as the police claimed. I'm dropping all charges." My mother was elated and fully emboldened.
Another night I came home to see her lying on the floor, the house door wide open, her car keys a few inches from her hand. She was passed out with a pool of spit drooling out of her mouth. Obviously she somehow aimed the car toward home, barely made it there and just got in the door and fell over forward.
I have to remember others who drink or use substances are not my mother. I shouldn't take it out on them. Sorry.
