Given the increasing police brutality and lawlessness, and without any official justification for the increases, it is not difficult to believe many of the deaths are connected to the protests. When we condemn the protesters for their actions, who is going to condemn the people who started it all and who continue to add more and more fuel to the fire? Ordinary citizens, not just protesters, risk becoming a statistic out in the streets everyday, when just saying something bad about the police, like calling them gangsters, will get you arrested.
And look at how they make an arrest. In almost every case, the person is wrestled to the ground and pinned with a knee on the neck. That’s why we see injuries to the head in almost all arrest photos when people hit the street head first. When one considers that the entire weight of the body can be put on the knee, no wonder so many protesters could easily be killed. In this particular photo, I wonder where the right knee of the second cop is, and there seems to be another leg on the boy's body as well (just above the fingers).
Here is the bottom line, on one side, we have the protesters with the support of the majority of the citizens, on the other, there is the Chinese Communist Party who is desperately trying to suppress the protests by any means possible. Why is it so difficult for some to see who the bad guy is in this fight?
