I figure it’s more a case where a guy has something against the Reddit site than anything and is looking for anything to blame on it. Pounding a square peg into a round hole, as needed.
Ironically, if you look over Reddit you’ll find people complaining that Chinese interests own a chunk of it and don’t care for the pro-Beijing trolls, aka “the 50 percent party” posters -

Reddit is, indeed, hardly a “far right” site, most of the internet isn’t. A person looks here or elsewhere for right-oriented views - and even here you’re not gonna get everyone on the same page on this issue or that question.
In fact, I suspect everyone’s been called a left-wing commie at least once hereabouts if they’ve been around for awhile - simply because they disagreed with somebody else’s idea of how things were. It goes with the territory. C’est la vie.
