"Last Friday, a member of my staff told me of events that occurred on July 26. While Ambassador Volker and I visited the front, this member of my staff accompanied Ambassador Sondland. Ambassador Sondland met with Mr. Yermak," Taylor claimed. "Following that meeting, in the presence of my staff at a restaurant, Ambassador Sondland called President Trump and told him of his meetings in Kyiv. The member of my staff could hear President Trump on the phone, asking Ambassador Sondland about ‘the investigations.’ Ambassador Sondland told President Trump that the Ukrainians were ready to move forward."

This is right out of the Ballsy Ford-Kavanagh playbook.

He JUST found this out Friday.

How extraordinarily convenient for this Hearing today...

Obviously this is hearsay. The person who claims to have heard the President will need to testify. Then Sondland will have to testify; he is already on record saying that Trump told him no quid pro quos. Sounds more like he is giving his opinion.

And it is still just a guess what Trump may have meant by “investigations”, assuming he said it.

And even if it were all true, I still don’t think it is a high Crime or Misdemeanor. He is the POTUS and has a right and duty to know if his predecessors acted corruptly; and to inquire about investigations. How can he, as POTUS, make decisions in the dark? If the Bidens or others acted corruptly in Ukraine he absolutely needs to know in order to make the proper decisions moving forward. And if the investigations turn up nothing, so be it.

This is nothing compared to “digging up dirt” or “manufacturing a dossier” like they did to him. My personal opinion is that the swamp is so used to corruption they don’t even notice it, and if someone actually tries to uncover it and clean it up they think THAT is the corruption.

The President sets that foreign policy this ‘ambassador” doesn’t like - it wasn’t the president’s policies that were being undercut....
