I have been disturbed that more FReepers are not bothered by Russian interference or Putin in general.

What interference? Be specific please!

Much was alleged, and most here looked on those allegations with extreme skepticism, as made up to hurt Trump.

At the end of the excruciating Mueller investigation he stated that no one in the Trump administration, nor any American citizen, had conspired with Russia in the election.

He did make two sets of charges. In the first he charged 12 individuals and three companies with interfering in the election by using social media. This is what is usually referred to as "The Russian Troll Farm" case, and is still the subject of an ongoing trail. One of the corporate plaintiffs, Concord Management and Consulting, has chosen to submit to the American judicial system,

The second charge Mueller made was, essentially, that the GRU (Russian military intelligence) hacked the DNC computer server and gave the information to Wikileaks.

Because all of the people charged in this were Russian GRU officers it's unlikely this case will ever go to trial.

Personally, I'd rate it as a "cheap shot". Mueller got to say whatever he wants, and is virtually guaranteed that no one will ever challenge his statements and accusations.

The Troll Farm case is troubling in a number of ways. It's not clear what exactly is illegal here.

Is it illegal for foreigners, or Russians to have opinions on American politics? Is it illegal for them to form organizations that push for things they want to happen in the world? Is it illegal for Russians to post with pseudonyms that might be mistaken for American names? Is it illegal for some Russians to pay other Russians to create pseudononymous Facebook memes?

Look at the crime from a generic viewpoint. For instance, can citizen organizations in Israel lobby for various results in American elections on social media (I have several Israeli friends, so I already do get a lot of this stuff already)?

Or, are they, too, breaking the law in doing so?

Does the behavior become criminal when it includes paid workers? Or because it's a Group. How about an individual foreigner? Can an Indian software engineer in Hyderabad post a meme saying "Hillary is great". Or is that a violation of some law I'm unaware of, too.

I much more troubled by the actions of the US Government agencies in interfering in the elections than anything that Mueller has accused them of. I discount things that people like the liberal media, Democratic politicians, and tards in general have accused Russia of. Even Mueller, who was himself clearly biased against Trump, could not substantiate those charges. I believe the were fake, false, lying claims by partisan dirty-tricksters, Democrat oepratives, and the Obama complicit media

Such claims are worth less than garbage to me.

Ambassador Taylor was a ‘chargé d’affaires’ Ambassador......meaning he was a substitute subbordinate....inferior in rank to an ambassador who is absent or one not yet assigned.....

Chargé d’affaires is the lowest rank of diplomatic representative recognized under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.

Yes, and many of us have been concerned about Putin for decades now and were frustrated that no one else was. But for liberals to, as of 2016, notice that Putin is a bad guy, is just too much for me. No credibility. Do they forget how much bending over Obama did for Putin?

When I ask them they are all like they have been anti-Russia since the 1950s. Yeah, sure.

I voted for Trump and his wish to improve relations with Russia was one of the top three reasons I did.

I was thinking more of interference in Ukraine, Crimea, Syria, with his own press, and citizens. Possible murder of several hundred by blowing up an apartment building so he could blame terrorists, etc. etc.
